Description:
Our project is aimed to provide convenience to all the users by providing them with what is available near them. Be it a restaurant, an event, or some scenic attractions, our website tells you all about the place and tells you what we think of the place and what other people think of it. Finally, our project also lets you connect with other people attending the event and socialize and hang out with them.
Inspiration:
Our main aim behind this was to make people know what's around them and hence not be lost wherever they go and enjoy to the fullest.
What it does:
Our project tells you about all the interesting thinks around you and also helps you socialize with others who have similar interests with you.
How we built it:
We built the Website primarily by coding it in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript and creating databases in MySQL.
Challenges we ran into:
We had enormous challenges in creating and linking all the items to the front-end being new to all this and also the complexity that this project required was a big challenge for us.
Accomplishments that we're proud of:
We are proud that although not complete we were still able to achieve some of our primary and most-important features
What we learned:
Teamwork is the basis of any successful project and no one can accomplish anything on their own.
What's next:
Completing the project and finally getting the chat feature into it which we were unable to accommodate due to the lack of time.
